PANG-CD utilizes a full spectrum of automated tools to provide the supported agencies with valuable, coherent intelligence. Analysts use a variety of programs to generate graphic intelligence products; i.e. link charting, commodity and
activity flow tracking, and telephone toll analysis, such as i2 Analyst’s Notebook, RF Flow, Crime Link, Visio, and Pen Link. In addition, analysts are very familiar with mapping software systems, including Microsoft Automap and Falcon View. The vast amount of raw data generated by cases is organized through databases, primarily Excel and Access. PANG-CD analysts will soon be able to provide another level of support to supported agencies through the use of Secure Internet Provider (SIPRNET).
